Sales Representative

Vancouver, BC

Job Description

If you have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills and have a passion for sales, we want to work with you. We want you to play an active part at a small, but very fast-moving ecommerce and point of sale development company for wineries. You'll act as one of the go to people for demonstrating the platform, creating quotes, etc.

Specifically you will be responsible to:

  • Listen to wineries needs and then work with the Vin65 team to present a solution.
  • Demonstrate to a winery how they can sell more with the Vin65 platform.
  • Be part of, and actively participate in, weekly team meetings.
  • Travel to a few industry trade shows and events.

The typical sales stuff: manage your sales pipeline, create quotes, look for opportunities, bring ideas to meetings, and continually look for ways to improve our customers' experience and close new leads.

Desired Skills & Experience

You have strong business relationship skills. You are highly motivated, have a great attitude, are passionate, and a team player. You're a proven problem solver, results-oriented, self-directed, and disciplined. You can multi-task and prioritize in an environment that is always changing.

You have some technical skill and understand the web. You can give a good presentation and have basic analytical skills. You have excellent written and verbal communication, and you can use Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

But most of all, you truly believe in delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term customer loyalty.

Who is Vin65?

Since 2008, Vin65 has come from start-up to now being the leading wine ecommerce and point of sale platform with a growing client base of 1,400+. It grew because of a team effort - a team who is very passionate about the web – with a large focus on the customer.

We started out with four guys in a basement out of a small town called Abbotsford, BC (Western Canada, right above the US border). In 2013, we moved to Vancouver, BC's Gastown area. We now have offices in Vancouver (Canada/HQ), Napa (USA) and Adelaide (Australia).

You’ll be the 31st full-time employee on the Vin65 team.
